Sadhana Smiles is the director of Harcourts Move, and starting this business has been a long-time dream of mine. I do a business plan for myself every year and put it on my shower wall, and in 2016 my goal was to own my own property management company. In July 2017 Harcourts Move was born. Having worked in this industry since the early 90’s (yes I was 10 when I started) I have seen many different markets and I understand that buying, renting, or selling is one of the most stressful things we go through in life. My goal is to create a business where everyone is focused on the one thing and that is how happy are our clients. My team will constantly ask the question of themselves, what more could I have done, and will we be referred to family and friends because our service and how we made our clients feel was outstanding. Our culture is one where people what to belong, whether you are part of our team, our suppliers or our clients.
We are a company that is young, innovative, agile and top of mind is communicate, honesty and transparency with our clients. I am an investor and a tenant, so I understand both of our customer’s needs. When I am not at work, I am usually watching the football, (Hawthorn), or rugby (Storm), playing tennis, going to the movies or eating at my favourite restaurants in Melbourne. Rachel Carlyon is our Client Service Manager – Property, she often calls herself the “Rowville Specialist” as she is one of the fastest at leasing her properties. She has a strong passion for property management, and always aims to offer an exceptionally high level of service to all landlords and tenants. Rachel's focus is on ensuring that our investors and tenants are kept up to date and across all issues. Rachel has been with the Rowville team now for 2 years.
Liam Smiles is one of our younger members of staff who handles the administrative side of property management. His attention to detail will ensure that no mistakes will be made in the process of managing your home. He is currently studying at Monash University completing his Bachelors of commerce and honours for secondary education. Through his commerce degree Liam is able to bring innovative ideas to the table allowing us to find new and exciting ways to look after your property.
Outside of the office Liam is a passionate Hawks supporter and has a love for all sports. He is also a massive foodie and will not be afraid to give you a recommendation for a good restaurant. Liam’s youth, positivity and meticulous checking of detail can assure you your property is in safe hands.
Pia's passion for real estate launched after graduating from a Business Administration degree majoring in Marketing Management. Initially gaining experience within the sales sector of a prominent agency in the Philippines, my skills and experience were transferred to the HR and Marketing Department. Amongst other tasks, my key duties were to assist in the process of headhunting of new sales agents, training and monthly target allocation. Since working with Harcourts Move, I have had the pleasure of using my past experiences and marketing skills to assist our property managers to develop stronger client relationships with their landlords and tenants.
When not at work, I enjoy volunteering at our local animal shelter, reading books and further developing my artistic/craft skills. My absolute constant is to always continue to learn, develop and seek out new experiences and challenges life has to offer.
